Dr. Glicksman performed my breast reduction when I was 17 and from the first appointment, she immediately put both my mom and I at ease. She was incredibly honest, thorough, and compassionate throughout the entire process. Since my original surgery, I’ve lost nearly 75 pounds and returned to her for two additional revision procedures (scar correction and lift over the course of ~4 years). My case required a lot of work, yet she somehow made everything look natural which was something I didn’t think was even possible. I went in for a consultation to have some red spidery looking veins on the left side of my face lasered away becauseI could no longer cover them up with make-up. The office & waiting area are gorgeous and super comfortable. The front desk staff are so welcoming and pleasant! Dr. Glicksman is also welcoming & pleasant and is so personable, too! I left there knowing exactly what to expect for the procedure and the results. I returned for the procedure, 110% comfortable with absolutely everything, and experienced zero pain. That was on September 20th and today, October 3rd, those red veins are 100% gone! First of all she was the ONLY doctor that didnt try to push other surgeries/enhancemnets. For example all the male doctors that my wife was consulted by wanted her to get lipo suction as part of the tummy tuck. She does not need lipo. She had excess skin from have 2 large babies (10lbs) but no fat, just saggy, loose skin. When she went to Dr. Glicksman not only was she NOT pushing other services on her but she was advising against having lipo. If all she wanted was the money she would have been pushing for more surgeries, not less! She genuinely just wants to make her patients feel good about themselves and restore their self condidence! When it came to the actual surgery we felt extremely comfortable and confident. You can see the staff at the surgery center respected Dr. Glicksman and that she is the boss!! Highly recommend!Posted on GoogleAmanda1875 days agoWhen I first started researching plastic surgeons in my area I at first was facing some difficulty because there are so many options, I had heard about Dr.Glicksman from a friend of mine who got a breast augmentation done. I checked out her website and called to schedule an appointment. Dr.Glicksman performed measurements to see what size would be best (proportional) for me and would be the healthiest for my body. She was very straight forward when explaining the damage that can potentially be done if someone receives an implant that is not suited for their body type. A lot of people need to understand she is not being rude or trying to make you feel belittled when she states that you cannot get a certain thing done. She is being real and honest , and she is doing what is best for you based off of her expertise, not willing to destroy your body and let you walk around looking ridiculous just so she can make money. I felt so comfortable with Dr.Glicksman that I decided to move forward with my surgery. Before I got the surgery I was really nervous from hearing what others have experienced during the recovery process, and I have to say my recovery was amazing. The first day I was really sore, but it was entirely bearable with no major pain medications other than an anti-inflammatory (ibuprohen). Anytime the pain was bit more severe, I would apply ice packs to my breasts and it helped significantly. Several days ago I had my six month post-op appointment and I seriously could not be happier with my results. My breasts look absolutely amazing they even look natural! Accepting a diagnosis of Breast cancer and choosing the treatment was not as emotionally devastating as failed reconstruction. I had two surgeons and three surgeries before I found Dr Glicksman. Dr Glicksman knew exactly what went wrong and corrected the problem. I felt whole again and comfortable in my body and my appearance. Ten years passed and (yes my implant model was recalled). There was no doubt in my mind that I would have Dr Glicksman perform this re-reconstruction. Dr. Glicksman and her staff were very welcoming and polite. During my consultation she explained very thoroughly the process that would take place and how long to remove my tattoo. As important as it has been for me to have my tattoo removed; it was Dr. Glickman's concern to remove that tattoo in a way that wouldn't leave me with further skin damage and scarring. We met last week for a follow-up and have decided I no longer need any laser treatments. Dr Glicksman never pushed expensive medications or lotions my way, just what I needed. I am so fortunate to have met the doctor years ago when she operated on my lip after an accident and corrected an issue 2 prior surgeons could not. It has truly been a pleasure to work with her all these years.Posted on GoogleJade3855 days agoI went to Dr. Glicksman about 3 years ago by recommendation from a co-worker when I was looking to get a breast augmentation. She was extremely clear with all the options of implants she could use and helped me feel comfortable deciding which option and size worked for my body. I went for the "gummy bear" implants and they look and feel natural with my body. The thing I love most about them is that no one ever knows I have implants unless they are told or unless it gets brought up in conversation and I always recommend them going to Dr. Glicksman if considering the procedure. This year I went back to Dr. Glicksman because I have always been self conscious of a hereditary double chin I have had my whole life. No matter how much weight I lost this was always there. She informed me about a procedure using Kybella that would basically melt away the fast deposits in my neck/chin. After 2 sessions it is safe to say the fat has melted away. My neck has completely transformed and is defined now and I don't feel self conscious having people look at me from a side profile. The procedure didn't take much time and the healing was tolerable. I would recommend getting it done in the winter however because the swelling sticks around for a couple weeks. I had a mastectomy a number of years ago and the implants needed to be replaced. Dr. Glicksman had not done the original reconstruction. She spent a lot of time examining me and carefully explaining her plan and answering my questions. I felt very confident about the procedure. Also, based on what she discovered during surgery she had to change part of her plan and of course couldn't consult with me. She made a good decision and I am very pleased with the result. I am 18 and was heading off to college. My Mom has been a patient of Dr. Glicksman’s for years and asked her to look at a mole on my back. Dr. Glicksman not only checked my back, she did a complete ”body scan”. She suggested that I take off a tiny dark freckle between my toes. That little freckle turned out to be an early melanoma. She is very thorough and not all about cosmetic surgery. She also set me up to have routine body scans, and I was back to see her during my spring break. I had done some pretty extensive research on the procedure for approxiamtely two years before I decided to make my first appointment with Dr. Glicksman. I always knew that I wanted to have my breast surgery as soon as I got back into shape after having my son two and a half years ago, and it was very important that I found an experienced, professional to literally transform not only my physical appearance but my entire sense of self. From the very first appointment I felt an enormous sense of relief and immediately knew that I did make the absolute best possible decision for my procedure. Dr. Glicksman answered all of my questions and answered everything else I wanted to know before I even had to ask. As soon as you enter into her office you get a delightful sense of ease. Her office staff is very friendly and helpful which is hard to come by these days. Dr. Glicksman always spent time with me at our appointments and made sure that I was thoroughly educated about the whole process of my surgery, the history of breast implants, the different types of implants and the importance of making sure I received the best possible product that would flatter my body type. I chose to go with the "Gummy Bears" aka Highly Cohesive Gel Implants. Some other doctors out there will just give you whatever you say without taking the time out to actually explain why that may or may not be the best choice for you. When I saw her she was very understanding and helpful. She suggested silicone implants. I had surgery in December 2005. The surgery center in Wall was amazing. I felt great after surgery, the best I had ever felt after a procedure. The implants have been wonderful. They feel and look PERFECT!! I would HIGHLY recommend Silicone. Her office staff is so professional, especially Darlene. She and her office made the experience so smooth and wonderful I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to go to her. She is very knowledgeable and skilled and I felt extremely comfortable doing my surgery with her. This was a big decision for me and I was not even sure I was going to go through with it but I am so happy that I did. The results are excellent and what I wanted -natural and proportional to my body and build. The recovery was just as she promised and really not bad at all! I was surprised at how easy it was.
